Voyager of the Seas

April

Pros: Very relaxing, fast embarkation/debarkation, great food, great activities

Cons: Lacked friendliness of staff

Recommended: Yes

Upon arrival to the port, we were quickly able to embark the Voyager of the Seas. Pools were not too crowded on the first day. The Windjammer was packed but the staff did their best to clean tables as other guests left. Going in we knew our rooms controversial as to whether we would like them or not. I did not hate the room, but as to whether I would book a forward facing balcony again, I probably would not due to the practicality of it. The balcony my parents were in, their balcony door jumped the track and maintenance came to fix it but then after the repair, my parents could not open the door and enjoy their balcony. Royal Caribbean did a very good job to try and compensate this issue and gave us a 15% future cruise credit. Our ship got diverted from Royal's private island in Haiti and instead we went to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. I think it was a good substitute and from what I've heard, the rest of ship enjoyed the island as well. The staff worked hard at their job but as far as friendliness, they kind of lacked. Our room attendant didn't introduce herself and lacked to be personable with us. My favorite staff member was the Washy Washy guy in the evenings. He always made everybody smile. Dennis, our cruise director, was amazing. He was very entertaining. All in all, this was a very relaxing cruise. We all took naps every day and enjoyed our time.

Voyager of the Seas March 2925

March

Pros: Aft Stateroom, wonderful staff, cleanliness

Cons: Too loud announcements (advertisements),

Recommended: Yes

Great time. For the voyager class you have to get used to some floors not connecting forward and aft but a little extra walking doesn’t hurt ??. The staff were friendly and conscientious. Always trying to make things even better for you. Would gladly cruise on this ship again.

Clean but wear & tear is showing

February

Pros: Awesome staff

Cons: The boat is aging and it shows

Recommended: Yes

The food was very good, the service was awesome. There is quite a bit of wear and tear on the boat however. Nicks and dings to surfaces in the state rooms make the ship feel worn in a way that speaks to the numerous visitors it takes on annually.

Voyager of the Seas - 5 Night Cruise

December

Pros: Crew, entertainment, renovated rooms

Cons: Main Dinning Room Service

Recommended: Yes

This cruise was a shorter 5 night cruise going to Cozumel Mexico and their private island Coco Cay, the ship was in great condition considering it was launched in 1998. The crew and attendants where very friendly and provided great service, I was pleasantly surprised to see how clean the entire ship looked inside and out. Our balcony cabin had plenty of space for the two of us, and everything worked inside the cabin with no issues throughout the cruise. The casino was smaller but well ventilated as there was little smoke issues from the people smoking inside. The main dining room had some problems, the service was slow and that made the food cold when it arrived at the table but this could have just been our table. I highly recommend this ship to sail, it’s priced right and with the watersides that have been added might be a good option to bring your kids along.

Once in a lifetime

May

Pros: Excellent chefs and waiters and stateroom attendants!

Cons: Stateroom confusion and noise issues, moved 3 times.

Recommended: Yes

The ship overall is very good, not too big and not too small. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great food especially for us. Special food to fit our dietary restrictions.

Voyager of the Seas

January

Pros: Had a lot of activities for our 30 something children. Medium size so easy to get around

Cons: Food was not outstanding. Dirty handrails

Recommended: Yes

We felt a lot of rocking the entire week. Guessing the stabilizers are out dated? The ship was easy to get around. Help was fantastic. So many good things about the skip. Only a few negatives I noticed.
