Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi
Arrive at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After clearing customs and immigration formalities, you will be warmly greeted by Goway representative outside the Arrivals Hall. They will assist you with your luggage and guide you to your transfer vehicle for a comfortable ride to your hotel. Spend the afternoon at your leisure, relaxing and acclimating to your new surroundings.

Day 2: Nairobi to Masai Mara National ReserveAfter a hearty breakfast in Nairobi, embark on a journey towards Kenya's lush highlands, descending the rift escarpment along a historic road constructed by Italian prisoners of war during World War II. Along the way, admire the quaint chapel nestled at the foot of the escarpment. Pass by the impressive Longonot earth satellite station as you traverse the valley to Narok. Continue your scenic drive through vast fields of wheat and barley, arriving at the iconic Masai Mara in time for a delightful lunch. Afterward, set off on your first thrilling game drive, immersing yourself in the rich wildlife and breathtaking landscapes, before returning to the lodge as the sun sets.

Zebra Plains Mara Camp is a luxury tented safari camp set below the scenic Oldonyo Oloip Ridge, overlooking the open plains of the Masai Mara. Day 3: Masai Mara National ReserveOptional Shared Hot Air Balloon Safari (additional cost unless noted as included on your quote/booking document): Early morning shared transfer in the balloon company vehicle to the balloon staging site. You meet the pilot who provides a safety briefing while the crew inflate the hot air balloon. At sunrise, your shared hot air balloon lifts off over the African plains. At times, your pilot will ascend to a higher altitude to give you an overview of the ecosystem. Then you descend to treetop level to silently observe the wildlife from above. After about 50 minutes, you land and are met by the balloon staff to transport you to your shared bush breakfast. You then return to your camp or lodge.
Following an early breakfast, embark on an exciting morning game drive, returning to the camp by mid-morning. After enjoying a delicious lunch and perhaps a refreshing siesta, set off on another thrilling game drive. This afternoon, you'll also have the opportunity to visit a traditional Masai Village, gaining insight into the local culture and way of life. Return to the lodge as the sun sets, capping off a day filled with adventure and discovery.

Day 4: Masai Mara to Lake NakuruAfter breakfast, depart from the Masai Mara and journey through Kenya's 'breadbasket,' where vast fields of wheat and barley stretch across the landscape. Head north to Narok, the district headquarters of this region of Maasailand. Continue your travels across the expansive plains of the Rift Valley floor, arriving at Lake Nakuru around midday. As you enter the park, enjoy game viewing en route to the lodge. After a delightful lunch and a refreshing siesta, embark on an afternoon game drive, returning to the lodge as the sun sets. Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its vibrant birdlife, offers the chance to see flamingos. The park is also home to Black and White rhinos, as well as the endangered Rothschild Giraffe.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli National ParkAfter an early breakfast, head to Lake Naivasha for a serene boat ride, taking in the beautiful surroundings. Leaving the Rift Valley behind, continue your journey to Nairobi for an early lunch (or a picnic lunch, depending on road conditions). Afterward, travel south towards Amboseli, arriving at your lodge by late afternoon.

Day 7: Amboseli to Tarangire National ParkFollowing an early breakfast, take in your final glimpses of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro as you depart Amboseli. Travel by road to the Namanga border, where you'll bid farewell to your Kenyan driver/guide and possibly some fellow travelers returning to Nairobi. Meet your Tanzanian transfer driver and continue by road to Arusha, where you'll enjoy a lunch (excluding drinks). Here, you'll also meet any new travelers joining the trip. Proceed to Tarangire National Park, and once you pass through the park gate, begin an exciting game viewing journey as you make your way to the lodge. Arrive in time for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.

The lodge is located on the eastern side of the Tarangire River opposite Tarangire Hill. The Tarangire National Park is 120 km (75 miles) from Arusha by road and is one of Tanzania's most easily accessible conservation areas.
The Park is a 2, 600 km (900 sq mi) area of remarkable beauty and rewarding game drives and is on the traditional migration route of several species of wildlife.
The lodge is 30 km (20 miles) from the park entrance gate, about an hour's drive through an area rich in wildlife. The alternative is a 20 minute chartered flight from Arusha followed by a 45 minute drive through plentiful wildlife to the lodge.

Day 13: Depart from Ngorongoro Conservation AreaEarly risers may wish to enjoy a beautiful sunrise over the eastern rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. After breakfast, depart the lodge and begin the scenic drive back to Arusha, arriving in the city in time for lunch (drinks excluded).
Guests may conclude their journey with international departures from Kilimanjaro International Airport or return to Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport via a cross-border road transfer.
Alternatively, those wishing to extend their travels may depart from Arusha Airport for flights to Zanzibar.
